Oral manifestation of multiple myeloma: a case report

Multiple myeloma (MM) is a relatively uncommon oncohematological condition characterized by abnormal proliferation of plasma cells. Oral manifestations MM can occur in soft and intraosseous parts. We present case 69-year-old man diagnosed with undergoing chemotherapy, referred to the dental service complaining nodular swelling maxilla. An incisional biopsy was conducted histopathological analysis showed monoclonal cells positive CD 138 immunophenotype, which allowed diagnosis extramedullary plasmacytoma. The outcome unfavorable patient died. emphasize importance diagnosing disease maxillofacial region.
